4. How long have you been with PPC Protect, and what do you do here?
I’ve been at PPC Protect for 3 years as of June 2020. My role is head of marketing and I’m heavily involved in our digital marketing strategy as well as other aspects such as branding and content.
5. How did you come to work at PPC Protect?
I used to work at a digital marketing agency with Neil prior to joining PPC Protect. With my digital marketing knowledge and experience, it was a perfect match to join as they needed someone to drive traffic to their website.
6. What is your favourite thing about working at PPC Protect?
The fast pace and constant changes that happen within the company. It’s not just your normal desk job, with lots of challenges, unexpected events and business trips, it’s never boring!
7. What do you do in your average day at PPC Protect?
I spend half of my time brainstorming and reviewing potential marketing ideas and opportunities for the company to grow. I spend the other half implementing them which usually involves writing content, emailing partners and building relationships.
8. What educational background do you have?
I studied business studies at college and went on to study banking and finance at university.
9. What work did you do before starting at PPC Protect?
Before joining PPC Protect I used to work at a digital agency with Neil, the founder of PPC Protect. I spent most of my time writing articles for clients and helping them with digital marketing.
10. Where do you see yourself in 5 years from now?
Sitting back on my executive chair and admiring our record-breaking month of online traffic.
11. What do you want to achieve at PPC Protect?
Greatly improve our brand awareness and visibility as well as highlighting the dangers of click fraud in general.
12. What advice do you have for prospective candidates applying to PPC Protect?
Be yourself and show us your favourite meme.
13. Describe your working culture in three words?
Detailed, flexible, perfection
14. One random fact about you?
I live on the 4 P’s diet of pies, pasties, pizza and pasta.
15. What’s the best holiday you’ve ever been on?
I went to Germany a few years ago and got to experience lots of German culture such as endless drinking and Bratwurst.
16. How do you define success?
Achieving a goal you set out to achieve without moving the goalposts.
17. What is one thing you can’t live without?
A good desktop computer, mobiles phones and laptops just don’t compare to them.
18. Who would play you in a movie about your life?
Zac Efron because we look so alike.
19. Recommend something to do in Bolton?
Visit all the bakeries and pie shops of course!
20. If you could learn to do anything, what would it be?
I would love to learn how to develop applications and games. There are so many new and exciting technologies out there, you can really create anything you want nowadays.
