As part of our ongoing effort to disrupt the existing ad verification industry, PPC Protect is delighted to announce that it has joined the IAB Tech Lab as a member of multiple working groups.

The IAB Tech Lab is a nonprofit research and development consortium charged with producing and helping companies implement global industry technical standards and solutions for the digital media and advertising industries.

One of the IAB Tech Lab’s key priorities is to work on minimizing the exposure of both publishers and advertisers to fraudulent traffic. As one of the fastest growing & most disruptive startups in this space, PPC Protect is the perfect fit.

Currently, PPC Protect is involved with the Data Transparency Standards and Open Measurement working groups, as well as the IAB Tech Lab Council. With the advertising industry facing an expected $30bn of losses of fraud in 2020, it is more important than ever for networks, publishers and technology providers to work together and solve this problem.

PPC Protect joins an incredible list of companies & experts participating in the IAB Tech Lab. Among them are Adobe, IBM, Amazon, Google, Nielsen, Twitter, Publicis Groupe, Facebook and more.

Neil Andrew, CEO of PPC Protect, said:

The ability to work alongside some of the biggest names in advertising & AdTech is vital in helping to stop the scourge of ad fraud. We’re excited to work with existing members to pursue applications of our real-time fraud prevention & traffic analysis platform, and to research future solutions that help protect all advertisers and publishers — regardless of budgets or audiences.

The working groups of the IAB Tech Lab have the potential to re-shape the entire digital media industry. This is why we’re so excited to be a part of it.

The IAB Tech Lab’s goal is to establish global standards for the advertising industry, pursued through a number of working groups. To date, a number of different technology firms and digital agencies contribute to these groups. Key members include Google, Yahoo, Facebook & Microsoft.
